My name is Becca Schuetz. I’m a Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) with over 10 years of experience helping thousands of families in Atlanta’s top ranked hospitals. At Coping Solutions I work directly with parents and their children teaching them the best ways to handle difficult topics. I provide solutions that help children process their emotions using therapeutic play. When parents have the right tools, their child will better understand and cope with:
A Medical Diagnosis
Loss of a Loved One
Divorce
Any Other Life Stressor
Through my personalized support, children and families will be able to navigate challenging life events with confidence and understanding.
Let’s connect and discuss how I can help.

About me
I have over 10 years of experience as a Certified Child Life Specialist in top hospitals like Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Emory Healthcare. I bring a wealth of expertise helping patients and their families in the areas of pediatric and adult oncology, grief support and medical and procedural education. My dedication extends beyond hospital walls, with 13 years of community service at Camp Sunshine, an organization that combines recreation, respite, education and oncology support for children and their families.
I’ve also contributed to advancing the field of Child Life through research, most notably with my published article “Child Life Specialist Videoconference Support of Siblings and Pediatric Stem Cell Transplant Recipients: A Pilot Study,” which highlights the benefits of telehealth child life services. My passion lies in providing holistic care and support to children and families during challenging times, and I look forward to speaking with you.
